Winter Lesson Packages

Hone your game over winter with great value lesson packages!

As we move into winter, many golfers decide to put the clubs away until the fair weather returns. Rather than doing this and returning to golf next spring out of practice, why not make the most of the winter and use the time to work on your swing!

I offer a variety of lesson packages available this winter which are geared towards improving your technique and ability to score well on the course, allowing you to enter the golfing season ready to hit the ground running!

Individual lesson packages can be purchased in the following forms:

3x 60 mins

6x 30 mins

6x 60 mins

10 x 30 mins

10x 60 mins

All packages offer great value compared to pay as you go lessons and each package is tailored to the individual. Lessons can take place on our driving range, Indoor Simulator, short game area, putting green or on the course, allowing us to cover all aspects of the game!

In addition to this I have a new on course lesson package. This gives you 3x 9-hole on course lessons which will cover technique in all aspects of the game, course management, pre shot routines and psychology. Each 9-hole lesson is followed by a 30-40 minute chat analysing the game and formulating a plan take forward.

So instead of spending the winter thinking about golf, use this time to improve your skills and become a better golfer!

A New Chapter at Fulwell

It's all change here in the Pro Shop at Fulwell Golf Club. After 27 years as Head Professional, Nigel Turner has drawn a line under his time at Fulwell.

During his time here Nigel built one of the best stocked pro shops in the area and offered a variety of services such as Trolley repairs, club repairs and custom fitting, all of which made him one of the most reputable PGA Professionals in the region. Nigel will continue to be the man for Powakaddy and Motocaddy trolley repairs from his new base in Berkshire and I wish him all the best in his fresh challenge.

And so a new chapter begins. James Johnson will be joining me here at Fulwell as the new head professional in May 2023. James moves here from Wyke Green GC and already has an impressive track record. James is a member of Foremost golf, a buying group that gives him access to almost all brands you might wish to purchase. As expected, a new regime will come with some changes and fresh ideas.

We have already introduced online booking for lessons and we will offer a variety of individual packages and lesson types. We will be opening up the indoor swing studio for lessons and continuing to offer custom fittings for a variety of club manufacturers in there.

Group junior lessons will be up and running from the middle of May with lessons taking place on Friday evenings and Weekends with either James or Myself running these sessions.

We will also continue to run the incredibly successful Fulwell Academy Membership - the 6-month programme which introduces people to the game and golf club membership, including 6 group lessons, 6 individual lessons and 3 on-course group lessons.
